PORT TOWNSEND, WASHINGTON
The Ancient Wisdom Rising gathering will be held on the grounds of Fort Worden State Park and Conference Center on a bluff above the coastal town of Port Townsend, Washington. The 434-acre multi-use park has over two miles of saltwater shoreline along the Puget Sound across and west of Seattle.

The Straits of Juan de Fuca connects the Puget Sound to the Pacific Ocean. The highway along the Straits is lined by jagged cliffs and cedar forests and offers peeks at Canada's Vancouver Island from some of the panoramic views. An easy side trip could include a hike on the trails of the Makah Indian reservation to the Northwestern-most corner of the United States, a stunning, humbling experience.
